Why sponsor? We believe that food education empowers children to strive for their dreams and more easily succeed in life. Many students, particularly in under-resourced school districts, lack access to education that focuses on nutrition, healthy eating and cooking. 

Their understanding of how to relate to food is naturally limited by the resources made available. Learning cooking skills and how to make balanced lifestyle choices provides children with invigorating, creative and empowering early life experiences. 

By offering food education, we aspire to support as many youth as possible to feel motivated to learn about their own wellbeing and in so doing, embark on a lifepath that is about thriving instead of surviving.
